About
After about 30 years, I started painting again in 2007 thanks to my cousin who placed a piece of watercolor paper in front of me, handed me a brush and a tray of paints, and said to paint the pear on the table. I was hooked!
I have taken workshops from Karen Vernon and Sterling Edwards. Their encouragement has helped me continue when a painting is in the I-hate-it stage. I know the painting will probably evolve into a painting that I like. If not, so be it.
Horses are my passion. I am a member of, approved foster home of and volunteer for Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society. I've been helping with abused and neglected horses since 2003. I live in the country and have, at present, 5 horses, a pony and a donkey.
